Havraníky – 9 Mills (Devět mlýnů) – Šobes – Havraníky
Trail distance: 8 km
The trail leading to one of the most visited vineyards in the Czech Republic starts by the guidepost in the outskirts of the village Havraníky. For getting here from Znojmo you can take a bus number 818. Firstly, you will take the red marked path to Havraníky Moorland (Havranické vřesoviště) and there you will redirect to the green painted marking. Go past the guidepost Under Honig’s Cabin (Pod Honigovou chatou) and by following a path alongside the vineyards you will get to the lookout Nine Mills (Devět mlýnů). This lookout offers attractive view of the famed vineyard Šobes situated in the meander of the river Dyje. Then you will continue less than a kilometre to the crossroads On Fládnik Path (Na Fládnické cestě), after 600 metres in the direction of the river and around the chapel you will get to the crossroads Under Šobes (Pod Šobesem). From this point onwards, you will follow the red painted marking and go over the simple suspension bridge. Here begins the Šobes Path that leads to the vineyard itself and during the summer you can taste the local wines there. More ambitious tourists can continue up to the guidepost Šobes Path (Šobeská cesta) by following the yellow painted marking and join the Lipin Path (Lipinská cesta). This path is marked with blue painting and it will take you back to the guidepost Under Šobes (Pod Šobesem). For returning to Havraníky, you need to go two kilometres on the red marked path past Judex’s Mill (Judexův mlýn) and Havraníky Moorland (Havranické vřesoviště).
