Ticket Sales

  • After payment of the entrance fee, the visitor receives a ticket (the group leader receives a collective ticket).
  • Visitors are required to keep their ticket for the entire duration of the tour and present it again upon request.
  • The ticket is valid for only one visit. Purchased tickets are non-refundable.
  • To claim a discount, corresponding documents must be presented. Only one type of discount can be applied.
  • The entrance fee list is displayed at the ticket office.

 

Organizational and Safety Instructions

  • Visitors are warned about reduced visibility, low ceilings, uneven surfaces, stairs, and narrow passages.
  • The building is not equipped with a lift; to reach the gallery at 56 m, there are 162 steps. The staircase is so narrow that passing in both directions is not possible.
  • In the upper part of the tower, the step tread is only 13 cm; the steps are steep and narrow, so it is necessary to step sideways.
  • Due to a maximum passage width of 40 cm, there is a risk of getting stuck between beams at one point; passage is only possible sideways. For these reasons, entry is not recommended for persons with serious mobility or vision impairments.
  • Entry is allowed only with sufficient individual accompaniment, ensuring the smooth operation of the town hall tower, by prior arrangement with the ticket office staff.
  • The tour is not suitable for individuals suffering from vertigo, claustrophobia, or those sensitive to drafts.
  • Visitors are warned about the risk of small children stumbling or falling.
  • The tour is individual, without a guide; an audio guide can be borrowed at the gallery.
  • Children under 15 years old are allowed entry only when accompanied by persons over 18 years old. Parents or guardians are responsible for the behavior of minors.
  • Persons reasonably suspected of being intoxicated are denied entry.
  • Dogs and other pets are not allowed.
  • Due to structural reasons, the intervention of emergency services in the town hall tower is hindered.

 

Security Regulations

The maximum permissible number of visitors in the tower is 40 persons. Additional visitors must comply with the instructions of the ticket office staff; waiting times may occur.

 

Visitors are required to follow the instructions of the ticket office staff. Failure to comply with instructions or orders issued for the safety of visitors, protection of the object, and ensuring the smooth operation of visitor traffic will result in the visitor being expelled from the premises without a refund of the entrance fee and is obliged to leave the premises immediately. It is forbidden to:

  • Leave the designated route.
  • Disturb other visitors with noise.
  • Lean out of windows, spit, throw objects, or shout.
  • Eat or drink.
  • Tamper with security, ventilation, lighting, or any other systems within the tower.
  • Litter or otherwise pollute any part of the town hall tower.
  • Damage or endanger the structure in any way, especially by writing or drawing on walls.

 

Strictly prohibited and punishable by fine:

  • Smoking anywhere inside the building.
  • Handling open flames anywhere within the premises.

Visitors are advised that the premises are under video surveillance.

The operator’s liability for any damage to visitors is governed by applicable legal regulations.

Suggestions, compliments, complaints, and comments can be submitted in writing at the ticket office. Visitors may also contact the facility operator orally, in writing, or by phone.
