The Masopust carnival is associated with feasts and exuberant celebrations. This period is followed by a forty-day fast, so you need to eat well. The carnival parade is accompanied by musicians and various masks. The procession presented by GPOA students every year offers an interesting spectacle in the streets of the historic center. For their performances and entertaining scenes, the participants of the procession receive goodies such as donuts, buns and delicious wine from good farmers.
